🔼 Short Game. The baseball team beat Norfolk State 15-5 in seven innings. Jared Davis batted 4-for-5, hitting his first NCAA Division I solo home run. David Lewis hit the game-winning three-run home run. As a team, the Hokies stole eight bases, tying the program’s ACC-era record first set on Feb. 28, 2020.

🔼 W Column. The lacrosse team is back in the win column after beating Mount St. Mary’s 9-7. Kate Elam, Kamryn Henson and Mia Pozzi led the Hokies on offense, tallying two goals apiece, with Elam’s tying her career-high. The team is now 6-2 overall this season.

🔼 Staff Update. The football staff is growing some more. Help the Hokies welcome Trey Neyer as the assistant athletic director of player personnel. Read about his career here. Head coach Brent Pry also named Jens Danielsen, Cannon Montgomery, Jireh Wilson and Bryan Whitehead to the staff and updated the titles of Brent Davis, Shawn Quinn and Xavier Adibi. Today’s Game. The women’s basketball team plays its first game of the ACC Tournament today.

Season Honors. The wrestling team garnered four top-seeds ahead of the ACC Championship. Eddie Ventresca (125lbs), Sam Latona (141lbs), Caleb Henson (149lbs) and Rafael Hipolito Jr. (157lbs) headline the Hokies as the top-seeds in their respective weight classes.
