🔼 Mark the Calendar! The 2025 football schedule has been announced! The Hokies will play seven home games— three nonconference and four ACC games. The first conference home game is on Oct. 4 against Wake Forest. The final home game is on Nov. 22 against Miami (Fla.).

🔼 Welcome! The football program announced that Sam Siefkes will be the new defensive coordinator. Siefkes has coached in the NFL, FBS, FCS and Division III. He was recently the linebackers coach for the Arizona Cardinals for two seasons.

Preseason Awards. The ACC named Emma Lemley and Cori McMillan to the Preseason All-ACC team. Lemley has recorded a 2.64 ERA with 158 strikeouts in her three seasons as a Hokie. McMillan set the single-season home run record with 21 and the single-season program record slugging percentage at .869 last season.
