Good morning. We have former Hokies going to the NFL! Bhayshul Tuten was selected No. 104 by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jaylin Lane was picked No. 128 by the Washington Commanders. Dorian Strong was selected No. 177 by the Buffalo Bills. Antwaun Powell-Ryland was picked No. 209 by the Philadelphia Eagles. Aeneas Peebles was picked No. 210 by the Baltimore Ravens. πŸ”Ό Huge Comeback. The baseball team won game two of its series against Duke 9-8 in 11 innings. Trailing 7-0 after three innings, the men scored eight unanswered runs for the program’s best ACC comeback. The Hokies scored nine runs off of 11 hits and eight RBIs. Hudson Lutterman led the team with three hits. Grant Manning picked up the win on the mound after throwing 4.2 innings and striking out nine batters.

πŸ”Ό Big Performances. The track and field team competed at the Virginia High Performance meet on Sunday. The Hokies collected 12 top-five finishes across the nine events individuals competed in. Lyndsey Reed won the women’s pole vault event with a 4.26m height. Maddox Hamm won the men’s pole vault at a 5.36m height.

Series Win. The softball team won its series against Cal. The Hokies run-ruled in game one 11-3. Cori McMillan hit a leadoff home run. Michelle Chatfield hit a home run and a grand slam. They shut out Cal in game two, 9-0. McMillan and Charfield each hit another home run.
