First Look. The football team hosts Cal on Friday at 7:30pm ET. This is the first event matchup between the teams played in the regular season. The last meeting was in 2003 at the Insight Bowl. That game featured 101 total points. The Hokies’ defense is ranked 10th overall in the ACC. The two players to know for this matchup are Terion Stewart and Kaleb Spencer. Stewart is second on the team with 325 rushing yards through five games. Spencer leads the team with 33 tackles.
