🔼 State Honors. The Virginia Sports Information Directors named six Hokies to the Academic All-State Team. Virginia Tech’s selections include Sam Tackett (baseball), Lauren Hargrove (women’s soccer), Carys Baker (women’s basketball), Sam Latona (wrestling), Kelvin Gilliam Jr. (football) and Cori McMillan (softball).

Academic Excellence. The women’s golf team had five players earn All-ACC Academic honors. Valentine Delon, Morgan Ketchum, Ginne Lee, Katherine Lemke and Emily Mathews were awarded. The Hokies maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher while participating in at least half of their team’s competitive rounds during the 2024-25 season.
