Good morning! The softball team swept its series this past weekend! The Hokies have clinched their spot in the 2025 ACC Softball Championship.

🔼 Series Win. The softball team swept Notre Dame in Saturday’s doubleheader. This is the team’s fifth straight ACC series win. The Hokies won 5-0 and 12-4. Emma Lemley and Emma Mazzarone earned wins in the circle. Rachel Castine and Cori McMillan both hit home runs. On Sunday, the Hokies won 15-1 off of 13 hits in five innings. McMillan, Trinity Martin and Zoe Yaeger (x2) hit home runs.

🔼 Ranked Win. The lacrosse team earned its first ranked win of the season over No. 11 Syracuse 14-11. This is also the highest-ranked opponent the team has beaten under Kristen Skiera. Lauren Render led the Hokies with seven goals.

🟠 HOKIE HI

Three Meets. The track and field team competed in four meets this past weekend: 44 Farms Team Invitational, Gamecock Invitational, Duke Invitational and Oklahoma Throws Series. The Hokies claimed two event wins and two all-time top-10 performances at Duke. Lyndsey Reed won the women’s pole vault event in South Carolina. Two Hokies and two relays cracked the all-time lists for Tech at the 44 Farms Team Invitational. Vlad Puchko finished third overall and as the second top collegiate finisher for his first throw. He placed sixth in his second outing.
