🔼 Slammed the Books. The baseball team had 17 Hokies earn All-ACC Academic Team honors. This is the third consecutive season the program has elevated its record. Virginia Tech tied for the fourth most honorees among ACC baseball programs, while seven student-athletes became multi-year awardees.

Studious. The softball team had 12 athletes earn All-ACC Academic honors. Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests and 20 percent of their team’s contests as a pitcher.
