🔼 The Hokies Ate. The baseball team won its first midweek game of the season against ETSU 8-6. The Hokies had eight hits, no errors and seven RBIs. David McCann and Sam Tackett each went 2-for-3 at the plate. Preston Cowell picked up his first win on the mound.

🔼 Huge Win. The lacrosse team earned its largest victory of the season after beating Elon 16-4. Lauren Render had six of the 17 Hokies draws. Mia Pozzi led the team with a career-high six goals.

Going Pro. Former women’s soccer player Mikki Easter has inked her first professional contract with FC Pinzgau Saalfelden in the 2. Frauen-Bundesliga. It is the second league competition for women’s soccer in Germany and Austria.
