🦃 STOCK UP

🔼 Championship Race. The cross country team competed in the ACC Championships. Four men and six women recorded personal bests in their event. George Couttie led the men with a sixth-place finish and earned All-ACC honors. His 22:36.7 time was his career-best and the fastest 8k time of the season for the Hokies. Sharon Chepchirchir also recorded the fastest time of the Tech women for the season with a 20:14.2 finish.

🔼 Winning Weekend. The wrestling team had a successful opening to its season. The Hokies beat UT-Chattanooga 37-6 and won four titles at the 2024 Southeast Open. Eddie Ventresca had six takedowns, a two-point nearfall count and an escape. Rafael Hipolito Jr., Sonny Sasso, Jimmy Mullen and Gage Wright earned titles for the Hokies.

🔼 Finale. The men’s soccer team tied No. 2 Clemson 2-2 in its regular season finale. The first Hokie goal was scored off the foot of a Clemson defender. Oliver Roche scored the second goal. The team will compete in the ACC Championships beginning on Wednesday. They are the No. 14 seed.

Five Things to Know. The men’s and women’s basketball teams play tonight! The women start the evening at 5 p.m. ET against UNC Wilmington. The men follow with an 8 p.m. ET game against Delaware State. Find parking in Lots 1, 2 or 5. You will have to depart the women’s game and re-enter for the men’s game. The gates will open for the men’s game by 7:30 p.m. at the earliest. View the new numbering of the seats.
