🔼 POTW. The ACC named softball player Michelle Chatfield the Player of the Week. Chatfield finished the week with a team-high .700 batting average, three homers, eight RBIs and a 1.600 slugging percentage.

The Rise. Women’s tennis player Arina Gamretkaia is from Eastern Europe, Moldova. She started playing tennis at age four. Gamretkaia wanted to come to the States for school and played at two different schools before ending up at Virginia Tech.
