🔼 Shutout! The women’s soccer team won its season opener against High Point 2-0. Taylor Price scored both goals for the Hokies in the second half just three minutes apart. Virginia Tech had 28 shots compared to High Point’s four. Goalkeeper Lauren Hargrove picked up her first shutout of the season.

New Staff. The men’s soccer team named Justin Morton as the director of operations. Morton will be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the program, including scheduling, managing the budget and coordinating team travel. Additionally, he will be the program’s liaison with key external groups like the marketing and communications offices and program alumni.
