Good morning! The football conference schedule comes out today! So far, we know the Hokies will play NC State on Sept. 27 for its conference opener. Keep a look out on our website for the full conference schedule announcement.

🎾 Women beat ETSU

🔼 Double Trouble. The track & field team competed at the Red Raider Invite and the Hokie Invitational, where they excelled. The Hokies had three program top-10 performances and shattered the ACC and program record in the men’s 4×400. The squad ran a 3.03.99 time, breaking the old record by 1.50 seconds. The Hokies also had four event wins and 11 top-10 all-time performances at their own Invitational.

🔼 Home Opener. The women’s tennis team beat ETSU 4-3 in its home opener. Tara Gorinsek provided the clinching win for the Hokies. The team won two doubles matches and three singles matches.

Conference Dub. The wrestling team won its first conference win of the season. The Hokies beat Duke 31-15. Despite missing three starters in the lineup, the men won six of ten bouts. Each win was all by way of a bonus.
