🔼 Double OT. The football team took Cal into double overtime and came out victorious. The Hokies won 42-34 with a total of 426 yards. Kyron Drones threw 119 yards and three touchdowns. Marcellous Hawkins led the rush game with 167 yards. Kaleb Spencer had nine tackles. Kemari Copeland recorded the first multi-sack game of his career with three.

🔼 Comeback Victory. The men’s soccer team was down by two goals and rallied back to beat Cal 3-2. Declan Quill recorded a hat trick, scoring all three goals. This marks the first time in program history that two hat-tricks have been scored in one season since 2004.

🔼 Top 10. The women’s golf team finished 10th at the Landfall Tradition. The team had an overall score of 889 (+25). Emily Mathews led the team with a score of 222 (+6). She tied for 35th individually.

🔼 Final Round. The men’s golf team finished the Steelwood Collegiate tied for 12th place. The tournament ended early at two rounds due to weather in the area. The team had an overall score of 586 (+10). Benjamin Baker led the Hokies with a score of 145 (+1), tied for 29th individually.

Ranked Win. The swim and dive team upset No. 19 Duke. The women won 134-109. The No. 17 men beat Duke 147-87. The Hokies posted 17 Top 25 times nationally. Brendan Whitfield posted two event times that rank No. 3 in the nation.
