🔼 It’s a Draw. The women’s soccer team tied Liberty 1-1 on Thursday night. Anna Weir scored her second goal of the season. The Hokies are now 11-2-1 all-time with Liberty. Lauren Hargrove recorded a season high of seven saves in goal.

Game Notes. The football team will take on the South Carolina Gamecocks for the first time in 30 years in the 2025 Aflac Kickoff Game on Aug. 31 at 3pm. This season, keep an eye on the running backs. The group has three transfers and five homegrown talents. Our defense has a chance to thrive if it can make Gamecocks quarterback LaNorris Sellers revert to his early 2024 self, where he had 11 turnovers through five games.
