🔼 Anotha Dub. The football team powered over Old Dominion on Saturday for a 37-17 win. Kyron Drones threw for 176 yards, had 15 completions, threw for a touchdown and rushed in for a score. Jaylin Lane scored once, Bhayshul Tuten scored twice and John Love made three field goals. Tuten had a total of 115 yards on 21 carries.

🔼 Invite Only. The volleyball team hosted the Hokie Invitational and won two matches. The women beat Norfolk State 3-1 on Friday. The fourth set was the largest margin of victory in a set so far this season, with a 25-9 win. Next, the team beat UNC Greensboro 3-0. Tech expanded the advantage in series history to 8-1 against the Spartans. Hailey Pearce and Belle Patrick secured All-Tournament Team honors.

🔼 One Does It. The women’s soccer team beat Syracuse 1-0 to continue its unbeaten ACC slate. Allie George scored in the first half and now leads the team with three goals. The Hokies open ACC play 2-0 for the first time since 2009. This is the team’s sixth clean sheet of the season.

Fifth Win. The men’s soccer team is now 5-0-1 this season after defeating Syracuse 2-0 on Friday. Alex Perez and Malick Thiaw scored. Perez found the back of the net on a free-kick in the 60th minute. Thiaw was assisted by Marcos Escoe and scored just two minutes after Perez.
