🔼 New Hokie. The men’s basketball team welcomes Solomon Davis to the 2025-26 roster. Davis is a 6’11” center from DeMatha Catholic (Md.). Davis brings size, athleticism and a long-term potential to the Hokies’ frontcourt rotation.

Summer Training. Baseball player Brett Renfrow has been invited to participate in the 2025 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Training Camp. After pitching for Team USA during the summer of 2024, Virginia Tech's rising junior will again represent the Hokies among 56 of the nation's best non-draft-eligible collegiate players. The camp consists of a five-game Starts vs. Stripes showcase series running from June 29 to July 3 at three North Carolina ballparks.
