🔼 On Track. The track & field team competed at the Texas Relays and Raleigh Relays over the weekend. In Texas, Lyndsey Reed claimed the No. 6 all-time top 10 performance slot with her 4.37m pole vault mark. At the Raleigh Relays, Nicholas Kipchirhcir collected 13th in his event debut of the 10,000, with a time of 8:22.51. His time is No. 2 all-time for Virginia Tech and No. 13 in the NCAA this season.

🔼 Lead the Way. The women’s golf team competed in the first round and second rounds of the ECU Ironwood Invitational. The No. 49 Hokies are in first place with a score of 583 (+9). Morgan Ketchum is second individually with a score of 142 (-2).

Best Coach. The ACC named Director of Track & Field Ben Thomas the ACC Men's Indoor Track & Field Coach of the Year. This is his first accolade as Director. He led the men’s team to its fourth ACC team title in five seasons.
