🔼 Fab Five. The Hokies baseball team had five athletes get drafted in the 2024 MLB Draft. Carson DeMartini led off Virginia Tech’s 2024 draft class with his 4th-round selection at No. 130 overall by the Philadelphia Phillies. Wyatt Parliament was chosen in round seven by the New York Yankees at No. 211 overall. The Toronto Blue Jays drafted Eddie Micheletti Jr. in round eight at No. 247 overall. Jordan Little was selected in round 15 by the Cincinnati Reds at No. 449 overall. Finally, Christian Martin was picked by the St. Louis Cardinals in rough 18 at No. 531 overall.

ESPN named Keyshawn Burgos to the post-spring sleeper picks to watch team ahead of the upcoming season. Burgos was ranked No. 21 out of the top 25. He is entering his third season with the Hokies. His selection was influenced by the three sacks, four solo tackles and a pass breakup in the spring game.
