🔼 Conference Honor. The ACC named Rose Micheaux the Player of the Week. Micheaux has tallied two 20-point games in two Hokie victories. She scored a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds against No. 13 Georgia Tech. Micheaux also scored 20 points and went 9-for-9 from the field against Wake Forest.

🔼 Preseason Honors. Four softball players have been named to the D1 Softball Preseason Player Rankings. Cori McMillan is ranked No. 19, Emma Lemley No. 65, Bre Peck No. 71 and Michelle Chatfield No. 75. Jayden Jones and Jordan Lynch were named to the Freshman Watch List.

National Recognition. Former Virginia Tech football head coach Frank Beamer has been named a member of the American Football Coaches Association. The honor recognized his continued dedication to football and bettering communities. Beamer coached 29 seasons at Tech, posting a 238-121-2 record.
