🔼 On The Road Again. We are a third of the way through a loaded ACC schedule for the Virginia Tech men’s hoops squad, who once again hits the road tonight for a battle with longtime foe, Syracuse, in western New York.
As always, the league standings are a logjam in the ultra competitive ACC with eight of the conference 18 teams separated by just a half-game through the first three weeks of action.
The Hokies are looking for their first road win of the ACC slate against a Syracuse team that has won three of its past four outings.
Tip time is set for 9 p.m. ET on the ACC Network.
🔼 The 900 Club. Although his eighth NFL season came to an end on Sunday evening, Virginia Tech alum Tremaine Edmunds did reach a milestone in the NFL Divisional Round matchup with the Rams.
With his seven tackles against Los Angeles, Edmunds reached 900 career tackles and is now 13th among all active NFL players in that category.
Playing in only 13 games this season due to an injury, the former Hokie standout reached 112 tackles, marking his eighth consecutive 100+ tackle season.
🔼 Shinin’ Bright On The Diamond. First pitch is less than 30 days away for the Virginia Tech baseball program as the Hokies preparation for the upcoming season is heating up.
Coach Szefc gave us a breakdown of how the first week of full practice looked with the season around the corner.
