A busy week for Virginia Tech in many sports and host Evan Hughes has you covered. He's joined by freshman wrestler Ryan Burton, the No. 12 overall rookie in the Class of 2025, who beat EJ Parco 8-2 on Friday in Virginia Tech's thrilling win over Stanford.

🔼 Ladies Night. One of the hottest teams in the ACC takes the court in league action on Thursday night as the Virginia Tech women’s hoops squad welcomes Pitt to town for a midweek showdown.
Winners of five straight, the Hokies look to stay in the mix near the top of the ACC standings when the two teams tip off tonight at 6 pm.
🔼 Saturday Showdown. We are just two days away from a HUGE Saturday in Blacksburg when the fourth-ranked Blue Devils of Duke come to town for a national TV showdown.
Coach Young joined the ACC Network crew to talk about the season and preview the big day at Cassell Coliseum.
Tip time is set for 12 pm.
🔼 Chart Climbers. The Virginia Tech track & field squads are blistering the track this indoor season as the Hokies men’s team climbed into the top-25 national rankings in this week’s latest USTFCCCA poll.
In addition, seven different athletes earned top-20 rankings in their events, including Virginia Tech sitting in the top-10 in four those events.
🔼 Class Acts.This week, six members of the Virginia Tech volleyball squad were named to the All-ACC Academic Team for the 2025 season.
Elizabeth Aylward, Ivy Cooper, Erica Dellesky, Reese Hazelton, Sarah Malinowski and Isabella Mishler were all honored.
To be eligible for the honor, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
