Host Evan Hughes sits down with Aaron Seidel of Virginia Tech wrestling, who made his collegiate debut in December at The Midlands and won the title, including the tournament's Most Outstanding Wrestler.
All five of his wins came by tech fall or pin. Plus, updates on Virginia Tech men's and women's basketball as well as how wrestling faired this past weekend at the Southern Scuffle tournament.
🔼 On The Road Again. After battling nationally-ranked Louisville on Sunday, the Virginia Tech hoops team is back on the road tonight when they square off with one of the ACC’s most surprising teams, the 13-2 Syracuse Orange.
This is the 20th all-time meeting between the two programs with the Hokies holding a slight 10-9 advantage all-time, including having won four of the past five matchups.
Virginia Tech’s last trip to Syracuse came in January of 2024, when the Hokies took home a 75-62 victory over the Orange.
Tip time tonight on ACCX is set for 6 pm.
🔼 Making Waves. One week into 2026 and the Virginia Tech swim & dive program is already bringing in the accolades.
This week, the ACC tabbed Brendan Whitfield and Carmen Weiler Sastre as Men’s and Women’s Swimmers of the Week. This honor marks Whitfield’s second of the season, and the first for Weiler Sastre.
Whitfield dominated against Queens, capturing three individual first-place finishes, while Weiler Sastre was equally successful on the women’s side, posting two individual first-place finishes of her own.
With spring on the horizon, Virginia Tech baseball is set to return to the serene, sun-splashed backdrop of English Field. The Hokies announced Tuesday that the highly anticipated 15-ticket Flex Plan for the 2026 season is officially on sale, offering fans the most flexible and cost-effective way to enjoy ACC baseball in Blacksburg.
Priced at just $90 total, less than $7 per ticket, the Flex Plan remains the best value in Hokie baseball. Fans can use their 15 tickets in any combination across Tech’s ACC home schedule, giving them complete freedom to build their ideal ballpark experience. Spread them out over the season, bring the whole crew to a marquee matchup or mix and match as you go – the choice is entirely yours.
