Virginia Tech Athletics and the Hokie Club have officially tipped off the 2026-27 Winter Pledge Per campaign, giving fans a high-energy way to back their favorite teams all season long.

🔼 Going Global. Two members of the Virginia Tech wrestling program will be on the global stage beginning today as freshman Bo Bassett & first-year VT assistant coach James Green take on the world as teammates at the Senior World Championships in Astana, Kazakhstan.
🔼 Among The Elite. This week, senior forward Amani Hansberry was named to the Julius Erving Small Forward of the Year Top 20 Preseason Watch List.
Earlier this preseason, he was included on the ACC's Preseason Second Team. Hansberry was Tech's leading scorer a season ago and earned ACC Honorable Mention accolades after his first season in maroon and orange.
🔼 Eye On The Prize. Virginia Tech's men's and women's cross country teams will have the advantage of competing on their home course tomorrow, when the Hokies host the 2026 ACC Cross Country Championships at the Buford Meredith Cross Country Course in Blacksburg.
Both programs enter the postseason with momentum after sweeping the team titles at the Panorama Farms Invitational on October 16, capping an impressive regular season that also included victories at the VT Invitational, Hokie Invitational and Fire Tower Project.
On the men's side, George Couttie will look to continue his strong season after claiming consecutive individual victories, while Brenda Jeptoo leads the women's squad following a collegiate-best 6K performance at Panorama Farms.
The men's 8K race begins at 10:10 a.m. ET, followed by the women's 6K at 11 a.m. ET.
🔼 Down The Stretch. With only two regular season matches remaining, Virginia Tech women’s soccer has entered crunch with a logjam in the middle of the ACC standings heading down the stretch.
Tonight, the Hokies welcome Boston College to Thompson Field for a critical league matchup for two teams vying for climb into the ACC Tournament race with both teams currently tied with 8 points in the conference standings.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET.
🔼 Back In Cassell. Cassell Coliseum will soon come alive once again as both Virginia Tech men’s and women’s basketball make their triumphant returns for the 2026-27 season.
With just four days before the action tips off in Cassell, now is the perfect time to secure your tickets to the excitement in Blacksburg.
🔼 Making Memories. Hokie fans have two final opportunities to make their trip to Lane Stadium even more memorable during the 2026-27 season, as new Maroon & Orange Memories experiences are now available for Virginia Tech’s upcoming matchups against Stanford on Saturday, Nov. 14 and Virginia on Saturday, Nov. 28.
🏀 PREMIUM SEATING
Last week Virginia Tech Athletics announced enhancements to premium seating at Cassell Coliseum, introducing individual, NBA-style courtside seats and new loge seating opportunities for fans attending men’s and women’s basketball and wrestling contests.
