🔼 Sunday Standouts. Former Virginia Tech standouts delivered several strong performances across the NFL in Week 4, led by Tremaine Edmunds and Bhayshul Tuten.
Edmunds was all over the field for the New York Giants in their 36-24 victory over Arizona, finishing with nine tackles, a sack and two tackles for loss as New York held the Cardinals to 270 total yards.
Tuten continued his impressive start for Jacksonville, carrying 17 times for 73 yards and adding two receptions for 18 yards in the Jaguars’ 22-17 road win over Cincinnati.
In addition, Tim Settle helped anchor Washington’s defensive front, recording two tackles and sharing a sack in the Commanders’ close loss to Indianapolis.
🔼 View From The Top. She’s not slowing down anytime soon, folks.
Senior Valentine Delon continued her strong play on the course in the opening round of The Ally in West Point, Mississippi on Monday.
Delon carded four birdies en route to a 4-under 68 in the first of three rounds at the event. She sits atop the leaderboard tied with Lisa Herman of Ole Miss and Avery Weed of Mississippi State.
🔼 Hokie Hero. Each week throughout the 2026 Virginia Tech Football season, a Hokie Hero from the VT Corps of Cadets will be honored for their service.
This weekend’s Hokie Heroes are alumni Lt. Alex Hoffman and Lt. Joseph LeFleche.
Both are currently serving in the US Navy on the USS Rafael Peralta.
🦃 INVEST TO WIN
Through the Invest to Win campaign, Virginia Tech is committed to building an athletics department that consistently competes on the national stage. That requires a financial model capable of supporting championship-level expectations. Virginia Tech is not waiting to see where the future of college athletics goes; we are investing in where we believe Virginia Tech Athletics belongs.
