🔼 Fun In The Sun. Not only did the Virginia Tech women’s hoops squad enjoy some quality time in the islands, but they also put some solid basketball on display, capping the trip with a decisive 78-67 victory over Oregon State on Saturday.

In the win over the Beaver, Mel Daley (24) and Carys Baker (20) both poured in 20+ points to lead a balance scoring attack.

Daley earned Paradise Jam Island Division All-Tournament team honors after averaging 20 points per game on the trip.

At 6-2 on the year, the Hokies now return home to battle in the ACC/SEC Challenge, welcoming Florida to town on Thursday, December 4. Tip time is set for 5 p.m. on ESPN2.

🔼 The Big 3-0-0. The Virginia Tech volleyball squad wrapped up its 2025 season with a milestone victory on Friday evening.

The Hokies traveled to Syracuse and brought home a 3- victory over the Orange, snapping a three-match losing streak to ‘Cuse.

The win also marked a significant milestone for head coach Marci Byers, who earned her 300th career victory in her sixth season at the helm of the Hokies.

🔼 Still Got It. Fifteen years into his NFL career, wins still never get old.

Former Virginia Tech standout Tyrod Taylor ushered the Jets to a thrilling comeback victory on Sunday over the Atlanta Falcons, 27-24.

Taylor threw for 172 yards in the air and ran for another 44 on the ground, while passing and rushing for a TD.
