Pry Joins Latest Edition Of The Level 7 Podcast
Good Morning, Hokie Fans. Add another line to the lenghty resume of Carleigh Wenzel..
What else are we covering in today’s edition, Hokies?
🎙️ A Can’t Miss Episode
⚾️ Dukin’ It Out
👟 Freaky Fast
🦃 And much, much more!
🎙️ YOU CAN’T MISS THIS
This morning, a can’t miss conversation on the Level 7 Podcast between Bill Roth, Mike Burnop and Virginia Tech defensive coordinator Brent Pry.
The trio sit down to talk about his return to the Hokies and much more.
🔼 Dukin’ It Out. With wins in six of its first seven games, the Virginia Tech baseball team hits the road for the first time this season when it makes the short trip up I-81 to battle the Dukes of JMU.
Offensively, the Hokies are averaging nearly seven runs a game through the first two weeks, while blasting seven HRs over that stretch. On the mound, the Hokies are punching hitters out regularly, averaging 12.3 strikeouts per nine innings.
🔼 Freaky Fast. With the indoor season wrapping up, the Virginia Tech track & field squad used one last regular season meet to etch their names in the record books one more time.
The men’s Distance Medley Relay (DMR) team set program and collegiate records with a runner-up finish at the Saucony Battle for Boston this past weekend, while two Hokies posted all-time top-10 marks in their respective events.
🔼 Spring Cleaning. With spring on the horizon (we hope), the Virginia Tech men’s tennis squad did some spring cleaning this weekend, breaking out the brooms against in-state foe, VCU.
For the third time in the first eight matches, the Hokes picked up the sweep, rolling past the Rams, 7-0.
🔼 More Than A Month. It may be the the last week of Black History Month, but this is much more than just a month in the calendar.
Listen to a pair of Hokie football coaches reflect on what February means to them.
Virginia Tech Football’s 2026 Spring Game presented by Eagle Construction
is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, with an afternoon kickoff time to be determined.
The game will be free admission and open to the public.
🤔 HOKIE TRIVIA

Entering today’s matchup at JMU, sophomore catcher Anderson French ranks among the nation’s best in patience at the plate.
He currently sits sixth in walks per game and 10th in total walks. How many free bases has French drawn so far this year?
Got a guess?
