Virginia Tech Football’s 2026 Spring Game presented by Eagle Construction
is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, with an afternoon kickoff time to be determined.

The game will be free admission and open to the public.

Emily Mathews and the Virginia Tech women’s golf team claimed victory at the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate, which concluded Tuesday at Hammock Creek Golf Club in Palm City, Fla..

Tech led wire-to-wire at the event, finishing with at 4-over par (300-286-282). 

Mathews won the individual title with an even par at 216 (76-70-70). Savannah Dupre finished behind Mathews for second with a 1-over 217 (72-72-73). Xin Yao Wang tied for fifth with a 3-over 219 (77-72-70) alongside teammate Valentine Delon (77-73-69). Pearl Phoncharatkun finished in eighth with a 4-over 220 (75-72-73)

Virginia Tech fans will get just that this morning as Coach Franklin, defensive coordinator Brent Pry, offensive coordinator & tight ends coach Ty Howle, and special teams coordinator Doug Shearer will all step behind the mics this morning at 11 am ET.

Franklin will address his first Virginia Tech staff along with the recently completed transfer portal class.
