🔼 STATEment Opportunity. Last weekend, the Virginia Tech Baseball team entered the ACC gauntlet against top-5 Georgia Tech.
This weekend, another opportunity is in front of the Hokies as they head up I-81 to take on 14th-ranked Virginia in the 2026 edition of the Smithfield Commonwealth Clash at Davenport Stadium.
First pitch is set for 4 pm (today), 1 pm (Saturday) and 1 pm (Sunday).
🔼 Conference Clash. This weekend, the action kicks into high gear for the 11th-ranked Virginia Tech Softball team as the Hokies enter ACC play for the first time this season.
Tonight in Durham, Tech kicks off a three-game series against 25th-ranked Duke. The Hokies are currently 4-0 against top-25 opponents and bring a 15-game win streak into this weekend’s matchup.
First pitch is set for 6 pm (tonight), 2 pm (Saturday) and 6 pm (Sunday).
🔼 Signed, Sealed, Delivered. She may have completed her career on the pitch for the Hokies this past fall, but Natalie Mitchell’s not done playing just yet.
This week, the former Virginia Tech women’s soccer standout signed her first professional contract with Racing Louisville FC in the NWSL for the 2026 season.
As a Hokie, Mitchell started in every game (78) of her collegiate career. She finished her college career with 24 goals and 19 assists for 67 career points.
