🔼 Let’s Dance. For the 14th time in program history, the Virginia Tech women’s hoops program will step on the floor at the NCAA Tournament this afternoon when the ninth-seeded Hokies square off with eighth-seeded Oregon.

Today’s matchup marks the fifth NCAA Tournament in the past six seasons for the Hokies. While Tech head coach Megan Duffy will be logging her first postseason appearance with the Hokies, the seasoned veteran isn’t unfamiliar with the tournament, previously appearing in 2021, 2023 and 2024 while at the helm for Marquette.

Tip time is set for 1:30 pm EST.

🔼 Marchin’ On. The sixth-ranked Virginia Tech wrestling squad officially took the mats at the NCAA Championships on Thursday in Cleveland, Ohio in the opening round of 32.

Eight of the 10 Hokie wrestlers battled to victories and marched on to Friday’s action. Highlighting the action were No. 2 Eddie Ventresca and No. 4 Aaron Seidel, who made their way into the quarterfinals with two victories on Thursday.

Wrestling resumes on Friday, March 20 at 12 p.m. ET with quarterfinal and consolation action live on ESPNU and ESPN+.

Carmen Weiler Sastre earned Honorable Mention All-American status with a top-12 finish in the 200 free at the NCAA Championships in Atlanta, Ga. on Thursday night.
