Hokie fans will have the opportunity to take their Spring Game experience to the next level with Maroon and Orange Memories, a collection of can’t-miss moments that place the fan in the center of the action. 🔼 Big League Hokies. There’s nothing like Opening Day baseball and three former Tech standouts will be a part of that festivities across the big leagues today.
Kerry Carpenter (Tigers), TJ Rumfield (Rockies) and Ian Seymour (Rays) all earned spots on opening day rosters to begin the 2026 season.

🔼 Coordinator Catchup. With less than a month left before the spring game, Brent Pry is back for his fifth season in Blacksburg with a new role and new perspective.
Even in the unique situation the coaching veteran finds himself in, he’s ready to pour back into a Blacksburg community that did the same for him and his family while serving as the team’s head coach.
🔼 Droppin’ Records. One night down. A quartet of All-Americans secured.
On the first night of the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships, the 200m relay team of Levente Balogh, Eli Martin, Landon Gentry and Brendan Whitfield earned a spot in the finals and brought home Honorable Mention All-American accolades in the event.
🔼 On The Hunt. It’s been quite a week for former Tech standout Hunter Cattoor.
After scoring a career-high 20 points for the Long Island Nets of the GLeague, he followed it up with yet a new career-high on Tuesday night, pouring in 25 points to help the Nets clinch a spot in the playoffs.

Our first look at the 2026 Hokies is just around the corner. Virginia Tech’s Spring Football Game, presented by Eagle Construction kicks off at 3 p.m. on April 18 and ordinarily there would be a few key areas to watch in a typical spring game for all of us. But this year? Well, we need to watch everything.
James Franklin’s first Virginia Tech team makes its Lane Stadium debut in the 2026 Spring Game on April 18.
Not only are there dozens of new players, coaches, analysts and advisors in Tech’s program, but the returning players who have redefined and reshaped their bodies since Tech’s last game back in November have a renewed hunger.
