🔼 Feelin’ 22. Just 22 days separate us from the Spring Game at Lane Stadium as Virginia Tech football enters the final few weeks of spring camp under the leadership of Coach Franklin and his staff.

🔼 Schedule Shiftin’. Due to weather forecasts, Game 1 (Friday) of the home ACC series vs. Stanford is being moved from 6 p.m. to 1 p.m.

While we know this may be an inconvenience, we appreciate your flexibility and look forward to seeing you at the ballpark.

🔼 Thrivin’. Having success goes far beyond the actual playing field.

Recently, a group of Virginia Tech student-athletes gathered around a raised stage in the middle of the Student-Athlete Performance Center to listen to a few invited guests. Those guests happened to be professional athletes who were once in the shoes of Hokie athletes, when they starred in maroon and orange on the softball and football fields, respectively. 

The guests of course were Emma Lemley ('25) and Joey Slye ('18), who are both at the top of their respective sports, playing professionally. The duo was part of the THRIVE program, a program to give student-athletes support to be successful and navigate the challenges that they face on campus.

🔼 And Another One. Another night in the pool. Another school record goes down.

On Wednesday, it was the 200 medley relay. On Thursday, it was the 200 free relay of Brendan Whitfield, Diego Aranda, Tanish George Mathew and Javier Nunez, who not only earned Honorable Mention All-American accolades, but also broke the school record with a time of 1:14.99 for a ninth-place overall finish.

It was Whitfield’s third All-American honor of the championship meet after he grabbed an individual accolade in the 200 free earlier in the day.

🦃 MAKING MEMORIES

Hokie fans will have the opportunity to take their Spring Game experience to the next level with Maroon and Orange Memories, a collection of can’t-miss moments that place the fan in the center of the action. It’s the perfect time to invest in memory-making opportunities as the Virginia Tech Hokies take the field for the first time in the James Franklin era.  

Maroon and Orange Memories are the best way to enhance what is already an electric gameday atmosphere. From behind-the-scenes looks at the Hokies to entertainment beyond the gridiron, fans can make their trip to Blacksburg one for the history books.

🤔 HOKIE TRIVIA

The 12th-ranked Hokies head north to battle Boston College in a three-game ACC series in Beantown.
