Hokie fans will have the opportunity to take their Spring Game experience to the next level with Maroon and Orange Memories, a collection of can’t-miss moments that place the fan in the center of the action. 

🔼 All-American Girl. The incredible junior season of Carleigh Wenzel was capped this week as the Virginia Tech women’s basketball guard was named a WBCA Division I Coaches’ All-America honorable mention.

Wenzel’s recognition places her among the top players in the country, as selected by coaches across NCAA Division I women’s basketball. The guard adds to her postseason honors after earning All-ACC Second Team recognition in March.

A dynamic and consistent presence, Wenzel averaged 15.1 points, a team best, while adding 3.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. She reached double figures in 25 games this season, including seven 20-point performances, and recorded nine games with five or more assists.

🔼 Nick At Night. Right when his team needs him, former Tech standout Nickeil Alexander-Walker is delivering.

As the Atlanta Hawks inch closer to clinching a spot in the upcoming NBA playoffs, Alexander-Walker is showing out, averaging 23.3 points over his past 16 games as the Hawks have piled up a 15-1 record during that stretch.

On Wednesday night, Alexander-Walker was lights out with 32 points, four rebounds and three steals, while connecting on five 3-pointers in a win in Orlando.

For the first time in nearly three weeks, the Virginia Tech men’s tennis team is back at home this weekend, hosting two nationally-ranked opponents.
