🔼 Trophy Huntin’. It’s hunting season for the Virginia Tech Baseball squad.
Tonight, the Hokies open up play at the ACC Tournament when they take the field to battle Notre Dame in the opening round.
This marks the first meeting between the two programs this season. Last year, Tech traveled to South Bend and took two-of-three from the Irish.
First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m.
🔼 A Year To Remember. With 48 wins, the 2026 Virginia Tech softball squad produced the program's best win total since 2008.
The team set eight single-season program records along the way. From wire to wire, this was a team that hit, pitched, and competed at a level that stood out even against the backdrop of Virginia Tech's recent run of sustained success.
The Hokies also made their seventh consecutive NCAA Regional appearance under D'Amour and reached their first ACC Championship game since 2012. By conference-only statistics, Tech finished first in the ACC in batting average (.362) and second in ERA (3.10), and eight players recorded at least 40 hits on the season.
