🔼 The Waiting Game. Marching their way into the ACC Quarterfinals, the Tech Baseball program put themselves right in position to battle for a spot in the NCAA postseason.

Today, the Hokies await their fate with the NCAA Selection Show set for 12 p.m.

🔼 The Winner’s Circle. There’s no rest for the weary when it comes to Virginia Tech men’s tennis standout Drew Fishback.

This past weekend, Fishback won the UTR Pro Summer Slam at Madison, with a 6-1, 6-4 victory in the finals. The win qualifies the rising sophomore for the UTR Pro Summer Slam Championship in Tallahassee, Fla., Aug. 11-15.

🔼 Medalin’ Up. Five different Hokie swimmers collected medals this past weekend at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Sacramento.

Leading the way was Carles Coll Marti, who won gold in the 200m breast and added a silver in the 100m breast.

Joining Marti in the medal haul for the Tech standouts was Brendan Whitfield (silver - 50m free), Ian Ho (bronze - 50m free), Eli Martin (bronze - 100m breast) and AJ Pouch (bronze - 200m breast).

The TYR Pro Swim Series is a premier competitive swimming circuit organized by USA Swimming. Designed for elite athletes, the series features Olympians, National Team members, and top international swimmers. It serves as a vital platform for athletes to compete in long-course racing and prepare for major global championships.

🏈 PACKED HOUSE

Demand for Virginia Tech Athletics football continues to surge heading into the 2026 season, as the Lane Lounge inside Lane Stadium has officially sold out for the upcoming campaign. 

Combined with the previously sold-out club seating inventory, the Lane Lounge sellout marks the fastest premium seating sellout in program history and further reflects the momentum surrounding the James Franklin era in Blacksburg. 

With premium inventory at an all-time high demand, the Sandman Suites are the only remaining premium seating option for the 2026 season.
