🔼 See Ya In Charlotte. We are just a few weeks away from the annual ACC Kickoff event in Charlotte.

This week, the ACC announced Virginia Tech football student-athletes, defensive lineman Kemari Copeland, safety Tyson Flowers, and running back Marcellous Hawkins will join Head Coach James Franklin at the event on July 16.

The ACC Football Kickoff will span three full days of interviews, from July 15th to 17th, at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown in Charlotte, North Carolina. The event will feature all 17 football teams with ACC Network providing coverage throughout all three days, including live interviews with head coaches and student-athletes, press conferences and more.

🔼 League Him. For the 28th time overall and the first time since 2019, a Hokie was selected in the NBA Draft.

On Wednesday night, high-flying Tobi Lawal was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in the second round of the 2026 NBA Draft with the 48th overall pick.

This past season, the 6-foot-8 London native started 17 times in 23 appearances and averaged 12.3 points per game while shooting 54% from the field. His rebounding mark of 8.5 per contest ranked in the top 10 amongst ACC athletes and he recorded 15 rebounds on two occasions. He scored in double figures 14 times and eclipsed 20 three times.

🔼 Putting In The Work. We may still be a few months away, but the preparation for Hokie hoops is well underway.
