🏈 TAKING THE STAGE

Football season is officially getting closer when its time for the ACC Kickoff Event in Charlotte.

The three-day event kicked off yesterday at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown and will continue through tomorrow with the Hokies set to take the main stage at 10 a.m. this morning.

The ACC Network once again serves as the home of ACC Football Kickoff, delivering more than 40 hours of live coverage. Across ACCN and ACC Network Extra (ACCNX), fans will have access to every head coach, key players and the biggest storylines entering the 2026 ACC football season.

🔼 Viva España. Seven years later and Justin Robinson is still getting it done.

This week, the former Hokie standout signed a two-year deal to join FC Barcelona, which compete in the Liga ACB and the EuroLeague.

Last season with Paris Basketball, Robinson ranked in the top-10 in points created through scoring and assists, averaging 25.7 points+assists per game according to EuroBasket.

After spending three seasons between the NBA and G-League, Robinson has been an overseas star for the past four seasons.

🏈 COUNTIN’ DOWN: 5️⃣1️⃣ DAYS

Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Virginia Tech Football this fall. The Hokies will host
VMI on September 5 at 7:30 p.m.

Arriving on campus in 2008 as one of the top inside linebacker prospects, #5️⃣1️⃣ Bruce Taylor was a key factor on the Hokies defense from 2009-2013.

The Myrtle Beach, S.C., native emerged as a started during his redshirt sophomore season in 2010 and racked up 226 tackles and 16.5. career sacks as a Hokie.

After his time in Blacksburg, Taylor signed a free agent deal with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2013 and spent time with both the Bengals and Arizona during his pro career.
