VMI on September 5 at 7:30 p.m.
Of course we gotta show love to our special teams guys!
All-ACC performer Joey Slye wore number #4️⃣6️⃣ during his incredible Hokie career that took him to the top of the program’s all-time leading scorer chart with 403 points throughout his career.
Slye is the only Tech player ever to score 400+ points, with the closest on the list being Shayne Graham with 371.
🔼 Lock ‘Em In. Tech fans will soon have the opportunity to purchase single-game tickets with location for the 2026 season and secure their seats for an exciting new chapter of Hokie football head coach James Franklin.
From high-stakes ACC rivalries to cherished fall traditions in Lane Stadium, fans can customize their gameday experience by selecting the games and seating locations that fit them best.
Hokie Scholarship Fund donors (as of March 1, 2026) and digital subscribers will receive early access to single-game tickets with location before sales open to the general public.
🔼 Statement Made. The Maroon and Orange was out in full force this past weekend at the State Open of Virginia, hosted by the Independence Golf Club in Midlothian.
2021 grad Mark Lawrence, Jr. captured the victory to claim his second title at the event, while another former Hokie, Drew Brockwell, finished at 10-under, four shots back of Lawrence to claim low amateur honors.
