🏀 BETWEEN THE ARCHES

Earlier this month, Virginia Tech women’s hoops unveiled a brand new series, “Between The Arches.”

Each week, Evan Hughes will introduce a new face joining the program for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

This week, we’re meeting freshman guard, Kaleo Anderson.

🏈 COUNTIN’ DOWN: 5️⃣8️⃣ DAYS

Throughout the summer, we will be counting down the days
to the return of Virginia Tech Football this fall. The Hokies will host
VMI on September 5 at 7:30 p.m.

Arguably one of the most important recruits in program history, Cornell Brown was critical to Tech’s rise to national prominence in the mid-90s.

The Lynchburg, Va., native started all four seasons for the Hokies, helping lead the squad to a 37-11 record during that stretch, along four consecutive Bowl games and two BIG EAST Conference Championships.

As a junior in 1995, he led the BIG EAST in sacks and led Tech to a 10-2 record, the program’s first BIG EAST Championship and a Sugar Bowl victory over Texas.

He was a two-time All-American and a Virginia Tech Hall of Fame (2007) and Virginia Sports Hall of Fame (2013) inductee.

🔼 Showtime In Rio. Showtime has arrived for Virginia Tech standouts Ryan Burton and Bo Bassett.

The Hokie wrestling duo will hit the mats for the first time this morning at the UWW U20 Pan-American Championships.

Burton (79kg) and Bassett (65kg) will be sporting the Red, White & Blue this weekend. Action on the mats is set ot begin 8 a.m. this morning in Rio de Janeio.
