To the best fans in the world: Thank you. In the 25-hour span of Triumph Together, 1,278 Hokie donors stepped up and raised $365,350 in support of over 500 student-athletes in Blacksburg, ranging across 37 states and seven countries.

This is an incredible feat, and we could not be more grateful for every single one of you. Your support provides the resources necessary for our student-athletes to compete for championships while pursuing a first-class education in Blacksburg.

🔼 Double Dippin’. What’s better than a Hokie Game Day? How about two games on the same day?

That’s what we’ve got tonight as both Tech soccer squads will be hitting the pitch.

The women’s team will be back at Thompson Field for the third time this season, welcoming a third straight in-state foe to campus when Liberty rolls into town for a 7 p.m. ET showdown.

An hour later, men’s soccer will make their 2026 debut when they take the field in Columbus to battle Ohio State at 8 p.m. ET.

🔼 Leading The Way. When the Virginia Tech men’s soccer team steps on the pitch tonight at Ohio State, it will do so with two of the top players in the country according to TopDrawerSoccer.

This week, Hokie captains Noe Uwimana (#25) and Yanis Belatrache (#66) both landed in the Preseason Top-100 rankings.

🔼 Another One. Another day. Another preseason accolade for the Hokies.

This time, it was Virginia Tech wide receiver, Que’Sean Brown, who was named to the watch list for the Biletnikoff Award on Wednesday. The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the college football season's outstanding FBS receiver

A native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Brown joins the Hokies after spending the past three seasons at Duke, where he emerged as one of the Blue Devils' top offensive playmakers. In 2025, Brown recorded 64 receptions for 846 yards and five touchdowns in 14 games.

🔼 Let’s Roll. While the rest of Hokie Nation prepares for classes to begin next week, a trio of Virginia Tech wrestlers are preparing to take on the world…. literally.

Starting today, Aaron Seidel, Bo Bassett and Ryan Burton will be competing at the U20 World Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia.

It marks the first time in program history that Virginia Tech wrestling has three members representing the USA at the World Championships.

🏈 COUNTIN’ DOWN: 1️⃣6️⃣ DAYS

Virginia native Jeffrey Overton Jr. is one of a bevy of offensive weapons the Hokies boast for the upcoming 2026 season.

After missing the first eight games of last season with an injury, Overton showed his potential in the final four games of 2025, including making his first collegiate start.

In those four games, he carried the ball 25 times for 146 yards and a TD, while also boasting one catch for 36 yards.

He was a two-time All-State Selection and was the Region 6C Offensive Player of the Year during his senior campaign at Hayfield Secondary School.
