Good morning, Tech Fam. Who doesn’t love an appearance by the Dub Cam?
What all are we covering in today’s edition, Hokies? Check it out below!
🏈 Three’s Company
⚽️ Brace Yourself
👟 Running Wild
✍️ And much, much more!

🔼 Three’s Company. With ACC play on the horizon, Virginia Tech Football will have momentum on its side as the Hokies moved to 3-0 for the first time since 2017 with a 35-26 road victory at Maryland on Saturday evening.
To start the game, the Hokies' offense put together three consecutive scoring drives that spanned 74 or more yards as Ethan Grunkemeyer and Luke Reynolds led the way to give the visiting Hokies a 20-7 lead early in the first half.
Grunkemeyer racked up consecutive 300-yard passing games with his 314 against the Terrapins following last week's 327 in the win over ODU. Reynolds became the first Virginia Tech athlete to record consecutive 100-yard receiving games since 2018.
🔼 New York State Of Mind. Sophomore Hannah Pachan couldn’t have picked a better time to find the back of the net for the second time this season.
On a rainy, sloppy Sunday, Pachan took a feed from Riley Karpinski with just over five minutes left in regulation and punched home the eventual game-winner in a tough 1-0 road victory at Syracuse.
Tech is now 2-0 in ACC play for the second time in three seasons and remain unbeaten on the road this season at 4-0-1.

🔼 Brace Yourself. Surrendering a goal just 70 seconds into the game didn’t slow down the Virginia Tech men’s soccer tea, who scored three straight goals to pull away with a 4-2 road win at Duke on Friday night.
Sophomore Amir Ariely scored twice to lead the offense attack, registering his first career brace in the Hokies’ first victory over Duke since 2019.
Tech returns home for a midweek nonconference showdown with Queens on Tuesday night.
🔼 Running Wild. It was a dominant showing for Virginia Tech cross country at the annual Hokie Invitational on Friday at the Buford Meredith Cross Country Course.
Both squads swept the top three spots in each race, rolling to team titles in both the women’s 6k and the men’s 8k.
Elizabeth Coe earned first for the Hokies, finishing in a personal best of 21:06.8. Lydia Mikhin and Kenza Elakari rounded out the podium, crossing the line with personal bests of 21:08.4 and 21:14.5, respectively.
On the men’s side, Dylan DeCambre and Roan Kelly crossed the line separated by only three tenths of a second. DeCambre's effort earned him first place and a new personal best of 24:23.5, and Kelly a 24:23.8. The freshman Will Fadden made his mark with a third-place finish.
