Virginia Tech Athletics has announced the next step in Invest to Win, while establishing the Investors Society, an exclusive group of dedicated supporters whose commitment to Hokie Athletics is helping advance the Invest to Win campaign and shape the future of Virginia Tech Athletics.
As Virginia Tech continues to build upon the Invest to Win campaign, the Investors Society will play an integral role in advancing strategic athletics priorities, matching the ambition of an athletics department that wants to position itself amongst the nation’s best, including expanding premium seating options for fans and enhancements to The Virginia Tech Gameday Experience.
Through the Invest to Win campaign, Virginia Tech is committed to building an athletics department that consistently competes on the national stage. That requires a financial model capable of supporting championship-level expectations. Virginia Tech is not waiting to see where the future of college athletics goes; we are investing in where we believe Virginia Tech Athletics belongs.
🔼 Taking The Stage. With basketball season inching closer, the ACC's annoual Tipoff event in Charlotte is set for October 5-7 featuring representatives from all 18 of the league's men's and women's programs.
The Virginia Tech women's program will participate on Monday, Oct. 5 in the afternoon session. Megan Duffy, in her third year in Blacksburg will be alongside guard Carleigh Wenzel and forward Alyssa Latham.
On the men's side, Ben Hammond, Tyler Johnson and Amani Hansberry will represent the program, all three key returners from last season. Mike Young is in his eighth season with the Hokies. The Tech contingent will be a part of the afternoon session on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
