Defensive linemen Antwaun Powell-Ryland and Aeneas Peebles have been named to the 30th Chuck Bednarik Award watch list. The award recognizes the most outstanding defensive player in college football by the Maxwell Football Club. Powell-Ryland played in 13 games in 2023, where he registered 40 tackles and 9.5 sacks. Peebles was previously at Duke, where he was the co-leader on the team with 8.5 tackles for loss and ranked second in sacks.
