🔼 Twice As Nice. There were not one, but TWO honors for Virginia Tech quarterback Kyron Drones over the weekend — both the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award included Drones on their respective watch lists!

🔼 All Square. Virginia Tech women’s soccer allowed its first goal of the season on Sunday in a 1-1 draw at Monmouth. The Hawks took a 1-0 lead into halftime against the Hokies, but a second-half goal from Kendall DiMillio was the equalizer for Virginia Tech. The goal was the first of DiMillio’s career.

🔼 Front Court Reinforcement. Virginia Tech men’s basketball head coach Mike Young has announced the addition of Eastern Michigan transfer Connor Serven to the program for the 2024-25 season. Serven began his career at Illinois where he played for three seasons, before spending last year at Eastern Michigan.
