🔼 Sweet Ending. Former Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Dave Cianelli was named to the 2024 Hall of Fame class. Cianelli just announced his retirement after 39 years of service to the sport. Just last year at Virginia Tech, he accumulated a third consecutive women’s indoor track and field ACC Championship, 17 All-America honors, an Olympic Trials qualifying result, an ACC MVP, Southeast Region Women’s Coach of the Year and ACC Coach of the Year honors and led the program to 17 broken records.

Running back Bhayshul Tuten has been named to the preseason watch list for the Doak Walker Award for the second straight season. The award recognizes the nation’s best college running back. Tuten tallied 863 rushing yards on 173 attempts and 10 rushing touchdowns last season.
