🔼 Anotha’ One. Tight end Nick Gallo was named to the John Mackey Award watch list for the second straight season. The award recognizes college football’s most outstanding tight end. Gallo was injured in 2023 and last played in 11 games in the 2022 season. He ranked second for receptions (30) and receiving yards (256) on the team.

Three football players were named to Bruce Feldman’s 2024 college football’s “Freaks List.” Junior defensive lineman Kemari Copeland was ranked No. 8 overall on the 101-person list. Graduate wide receiver Da’Quan Felton was ranked No. 22 and senior running back Bhayshul Tuten was No. 40.
