🔼 High Five! The women’s soccer team took down Louisville 5-1. The Hokies scored two goals in the first half and three in the second. Taylor Price scored three goals and Anna Weir and Natalie Mitchell scored one each. This was Price’s first career hat trick. The team had 18 shots total.

🔼 Huge Deal. Virginia Tech wrestling’s most anticipated match of the season has been set. Tickets for the annual dual on center stage in the Moss Arts Center will go on sale to the public at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 2. The event will take place on Nov. 22. The Hokies take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in what looks to be a top 20 match-up according to pre-season projections.

Pro Moves. The Hokies had standout plays in Week 3. Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds had his first interception of the 2024 season in the Bears vs. Colts game. Chamarri Conner also had his first interception in the Chiefs vs. Falcons game. Chuck Clark recorded seven tackles, his highest total of the season, in the Jets vs. Patriots game. Tim Settle sacked quarterback Sam Darnold twice in the Texans vs. Vikings game.
