🔼 Round One. The women’s golf team competed at the NCAA Gold Canyon Regional. The team is tied for eighth place with an overall score of 304 (+16). Morgan Ketchum leads the Hokies with a score of 73 (+1) to tie for 18th individually.

🔼 New Staff. The football team announced several support staff hires. Jimmy Laughlin, Tolbert Nance, J.J. Wilcox, Jordyn Hall, Hannah Ross and Donovan Mousel bring experience from the FBS and FCS ranks, including the SEC, Big 12, Big 10, Sun Belt, Conference USA and Ivy League as well as the NFL.

All Around the World. At the start of the 2024-25 academic year, there were 75 international student-athletes at Virginia Tech, coming from 34 countries to make their mark of 17 of the school’s 22 varsity athletic teams. But it all started with one student-athlete more than a century ago. Cato Lee was the first international Hokie student-athlete.
