🔼 Runner-Up. The women's golf team wrapped up competition at the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational. Emily Mathews placed second in her first top 10 showing of the season. She had an overall score of 206 (-4). The Hokies had a team score of 860 (+20) to finish in fourth place.

🔼 Top 3. The men’s golf team finished tied for third at the Furman Intercollegiate. The Hokies had an overall score of 858 (+6). Benjamin Baker led the team individually with a score of 209 (-4), placing second overall. Gareth Steyn was right behind, tied for fifth place.

🤔 HOKIE TRIVIA

Happening Friday. The Cal Golden Bears are making their first football appearance in Blacksburg on Friday.

They will be the ## different opponent to play in Lane Stadium.

Runner-Ups. The cross country team competed in the Panorama Farms Invitational. The men and the women both finished in second place. Katie Bohlke led the women with a second-place finish. George Couttie also finished in second place.
