🔼 Moving Up. Athletes Unlimited Softball League drafted Cori McMillan. Kim Ng, the commissioner of the AUSL, presented her with the golden ticket to signify her joining the league. McMillan is the nation’s home-run leader with 25 homers and .53 home runs per game.

Smart Gals. The Atlantic Coast Conference named six women’s basketball players to the 2024-2025 All-ACC Academic Team. This is the second time Carys Baker, Matilda Ekh and Carleigh Wenzel have been honored. It is the first time being awarded for Mackenzie Nelson, Kayl Peterson and Lani White.
