Terion Stewart is a graduate student who arrives in Blacksburg with 2,367 career rushing yards. Braydon Bennett played in 44 games at Coastal Carolina. Marcellous Hawkins spent three seasons at Central Missouri.

Winner! Rising sophomore Emily Santos won gold in the 100m breaststroke at the Junior Pan American Games. Santos had a time of 1:08.44, which was a new Panama National record and Junior Pan American Games record.
